Refund Policy

If you would like to return your product for a refund, please review the Return Policy below to ensure all conditions are met. If you discover what you believe to be a product defect, please refer to the limited warranty and follow its procedures.

RETURN POLICY:

Product purchased from Segway Los Angeles may only be returned under one of the following scenarios:

Unopened items in original condition as shipped or picked up. Return must be requested within 30 days of delivery/pickup. Customer responsible for return shipping costs or bringing the item back to the store. 

Wrong item shipped / does not match what was shown on website. Return must be requested within 30 days of delivery/pickup.

Opened, non-defective items with no damage or significant signs of use. Return must be requested within 30 days of delivery/pickup. Customer responsible for return shipping costs or bringing the item back to the store. A 10% restocking fee will apply.

The serial number of the unit being returned must match that of the original sale and will be verified once returned product is received.

No Returns on Service Parts. All sales are final on Service Parts (including batteries) regardless of whether the merchandise has been opened. 

Return Shipping:
You will be responsible for return shipping costs and must assume any risk of loss or damage to the product while it is in transit to us. Since vehicle products contain lithium ion batteries, they must be shipped according to applicable regulations. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.

In most cases, we can provide a return label to you and deduct the cost of return shipping from your final refund. Standard Return Shipping Charges are as follows:

F/E Series Kickscooter: $45
MAX & F65 KickScooter: $65
P65/P100 KickScooter: $75
Self-Balancing Models: $40
Gokart / Gokart PRO: $175
GT1/GT2: $190

On any item where a shipping charge was paid up front, the return shipping cost to be deducted will be equal to that amount. (The initial shipping charge is not refundable). 

Any cancellation requests received after an order has shipped will be treated the same as a return. We will attempt to intercept and recall the shipment with the carrier, though shipping charges will apply and will be deducted from the final refund. 

Refund Processing:
Once your returned product is received and inspected and its serial number has been verified, we will notify you of any issues. If the return is approved, we will refund the original method of payment. You should receive the refund within 2-7 business days. Returns are subject to restocking fees and return shipping fees as outlined above.
