With rebound, spring, and air adjustments, this shock can be dialed in for your weight and riding preferences.
The shock ships at its softest setting. Use the spring adjustment rings to adjust for your preferred sag setting. (We recommend about 30% of the shock's stroke.) From there, adjust the red rebound knob to your preference. The progression of the spring can also be adjusted with the air chamber, though a shock pump is required.
Installation can be performed by most people in about twenty minutes with basic hand tools. We suggest having a helper or some way to hold the bike up while you remove and mount the shock.
