Spring Upgrade for Segway Xyber Fork

Elevate your Segway Xyber's performance with our custom upgrade springs. Designed to enhance suspension responsiveness and comfort, these springs work seamlessly with your existing fork setup. 

These springs are installed along with the stock springs, and installation can be done quickly by most people. Below are the recommended pairings of stiffness level to rider weight: 

• Soft: Up to 175 pounds
• Medium: 175 to 230 pounds
• Hard: 230 pounds and up

Installation Instructions

• Loosen the upper fork tube clamp pinch bolt.
• Use a 22mm socket or wrench to remove the gray fork top cap.
• Compress the fork slightly to expose the locknut under the top cap. It is tightened against the top cap. Use a 19mm wrench on the locknut and your preferred tool on the top cap and loosen them both, breaking them free of each other.
• Remove the top cap and locknut.
• Insert the new spring. The washer on top of the spring will only allow it to go on one way. 
• Thread the locknut fully onto the fork shaft, followed by the top cap.
• Tighten the top cap and locknut against each other firmly. It does not need to be super tight.
• Thread the top cap into the fork. Tighten firmly, but again, not super tight. This is an aluminum nut and will strip if over-torqued. Segway does not specify a torque for this fastener.
• Tighten the upper clamp pinch bolt.
• Repeat for the other side.
