This is the first e-scooter that I've owned, so I do not have a lot else to compare it to. I am a frequent rider of e-scooter sharing services such as Bird and Lime, however, so that is my point of comparison.
The scooter rides very well, even on uneven city roads and occasionally the sidewalks. LA riders probably know well about those tree root-raised pavement that can be fairly hazardous. This scooter with the front shock absorbers ride over such obstacles very well, and overall it is a pleasure to ride. It also has plenty of power to climb those occasional steep slopes, even when carrying myself(6'5", 205 lbs) not to mention my smaller wife!
Overall, I am extremely satisfied - and might even dare say that I am enamoured by this thing! I may purchase an e-scooter with more power as the next step just for myself, while leaving this one for my wife.
The one thing that I do not like is the app; the limitation of only one account per scooter(household sharing gets a bit annyoing) makes it a tad annoying to use the locking function.
