In California, Xyber Air is set to Class 2 by default and can be switched to Class 3 in the Segway Mobility App. Hybrid Mode is not available in California. Always follow local speed and age limits.

Steady As You Go

Xyber Air’s TCS traction control, Hill Start Assist, and Hill Descent Control work together for steady stops and stable rides.

Traction Control System (TCS)

Confidence from the ground up. TCS continuously monitors wheel speed and intervenes when slip is detected, adjusting motor power or briefly applying braking force to help maintain grip, stability, and confidence on changing surfaces.

Hill Descent Control

Steady on the steep stuff. The Hill Descent Control System helps maintain a consistent downhill speed, minimizing brake use and maximizing confidence. Enable it in the Segway Mobility App.

Hill Start Assist

Ready when you are. Hill Start Assist holds your position during brief stops on an incline, making uphill starts feel effortless. It is an experimental Segway Lab feature that you enable in the Segway Mobility App; hold time is limited and is reduced on steeper slopes or with heavier loads.

Precision at Every Stop

Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes work with the electronic brake for stronger, more responsive stopping power. Together, they help reduce brake wear while delivering smooth, confident control.
