    Great bike

Having a blast riding all around my neighborhood. It’s a great introduction to riding again after 25 years. Very happy with my purchase. Building up my confidence to move towards riding a motor scooter soon.

    Great for getting around town

I live in LA and this is a great little scooter to get around town. The range to charge time is really great!!! I get why the pedals are there, but they are kind of annoying though- but not a massive downside.

    A LOVE Like No Other!

I got my C80 elsewhere, but I do my main Segway business w/Segway LA so...I thought that a proper review can still be done since I've purchased over (5) products w/them(check my other reviews on here). 1st of all....this is my 5th PEV that I've owned, & I can proudly say that it have been the BEST PEV that I've ever had in my entire fleet! I use the C80 for food delivery in the gig economy. I have her pimped out w/the front basket(not shown) & delivery box(shown) on the back...& thanks to my FB group(not sure if I can post links on here), I even have her going 25-30mph(unrestricted)!!!! Yes, you read that right! :p

    I take her on sidewalks/bike paths/bike lanes/neighborhood streets, and I LOVE IT!!!

The suspension is 10/10 (even better than the GT2's that I had for a brief sneeze imo)! The saddle is like riding on a cloud! I have (2) batteries (2) chargers for more RANGE! I loveeeee the foot pegs! Segway should've done that w/the E110A Mopeds also! :( Speaking of that....I still have my eye on the E110A @SegwayLA! The safety features are cool too! My favorite is the handlebar locking stem! I love the metallic rear grab bar. The Matte Yellow is fresh! I like matte better than gloss! The digital display is BIG/bigger than that on my Ninebot MAX lol. Full twist throttle is great! Nice BMX styled handlebars etc....I LOVE the thing!

Only a few shortcomings (me being a Moped Mann by trade).

The C80 needed front/rear STOCK turn signals (like on the E110A) even if they were…

A Class 2 e-bike that gives me the joy and fun of a moped!

This thing is an absolute treat to ride! The suspension is smoother than any other small EV I've ridden, and some much more expensive ones at that!

The range is one of the few on the market that holds up to what it's been marketed at. I've been able to clock in 50 someodd mile trips on one full charge, and with a second battery in the trunk, I can ride around all day with zero range anxiety!

Having a key card in my wallet is handy, and being able to use a physical key to access the battery when it's dead is nice.

The GPS tracking and security features were one of the main reasons why I gravitated to this over other ebikes in its class. Where I'm from, there is a lot of bike theft, and knowing that I can check its location from my phone to ease my mind that it's where I left it, and getting notifications when the bike's alarm goes off is a huge upgrade over lots of other ebikes that can be stolen the moment that you cut a lock.

Usually, I'm not one for connected apps on vehicles, but the C80 works incredibly well with it.

My main complaint is that the hill climbing capability on this is where it suffers ; I think this might have something to do with limiting the overall output to save on range. Luckily, the assist mode for rolling the bike has been helpful when it needs a push up a hill, but that does concern me in terms of riding alone at night, and not being able to outrun someone if I reach a hill.

For most casual bike paths, however, this thing is a ton of fun to…
